80's Pleats, Ankle Boots, and 101 Posts

Personally, I've always loved revisiting fashion trends of past decades. Maybe it's because I'm constantly intrigued by history and its affect on fashion. Whatever the reason, it compelled me to buy this pleated sheer blouse (shoulder pads and all) at a local thrift store for just under $6. It's a  lovely peachy, pastel color - the kind of pastel that's so light it almost tricks your eye into believing that its white. The shoes, like many of the shoes I own, were given to me by my mother. It's always hot and humid here in the Southern U.S. so attempting to wear leather boots during a fast approaching Summer season is almost unbearable. Fortunately, it rained today so the temperatures dropped enough for me to be able to wear these ankle boots. Hmm.. Times like these makes me so jealous of you California girls and your cooler temperatures. :)

After six months of blogging, I am so happy to have reached my 101st post. It's been such a great experience sharing my personal thoughts and inspirations with you. I never imagined that I would have over 150 subscribers between Blogger and Bloglovin' by now. Not only am I humbled by all of your kindness, but I am also looking forward to sharing more with you in the future. Thanks again for all of the support. You don't know how much it means to me
